The trip just before the lockdown in March 2020 hosted by Aniruddha was like my dream come true.
Really enjoyed the communication, planning, choice of location, local guides, flexibility to adjust the plan based on the weather conditions and information available. Loved your team's support to take care of my specific diet restrictions. It was a great balance of all elements which makes a bird photography tour not only productive yet fun too. Looking forward to a couple of more trips with you in the next season.

It was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and flavorful. The most important and exciting thing for me is the Habitat and biodiversity around this homestay... You can just sit over on the balcony with your warm and refreshing cup of tea and enjoy seeing lots of birds of the Himalayan range chripping and foraging around you with the backdrop of The Mighty Kanchenjungha. A must visit place for everyone for relaxing holidays and eye-soothing landscapes
The Himalayan Odyssey has etched a memory in my soul, wherein I experienced the sheer beauty of Nature, excellent hospitality with lots of warmth & a personal affection along side the purpose of fulfilling my passion for Nature & Wildlife photography. It was a journey of fulfillment & contentment which I would love to do again in order to soak in the spirit of the Odyssey.
It’s a great place to stay.It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. We loved the ambience and I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.
It was an amazing homely and cozy place to stay in kolakham. The place is minimally aesthetic with great rooms and Kanchenjunga view. The food and the hospitality was amazing as well.
I would give 10/10 as we really enjoyed the stay with an excellent hospitality, rooms and food. We feel like home with all nice people around. Snow peak view from here is highlighted. I highly recommend everyone to have a memorable trip.
An amazing place to spend time with your loved ones, away from any kind of commercialization and urban life...A beautiful dreamy window view of the hills with clouds just walking leisurely in front of you. Food was just amazing and the best part is you can customize according to your taste buds. The staffs are so friendly that you would feel them as family.
Himalayan Odyssey is a beautiful home stay located on the hills. The rooms are neat and clean. Food is simple but delicious. I stayed there for 3 days and Aniruddha Sur is a great host. Lots of birds around if you are interested in bird photography and I must appreciate the interest and the knowledge that Aniruddha has in birding. The days when the skies are clear, one would be able to visit the majestic view of Kanchenjunga mountains from the home stay. I would give 5 stars for this place. Enjoyed my stay here.
